This website aims to provide information concerning the history of the Goodwin Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church located in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Erected in 1910, the A.M.E. Zion Church is one of the sites of Amherst listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

This website stands as the result of a group project led by six students working in a graduate-level Public History class at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Fall 2014.

This is still a work in progress; the contents hosted by the website are not exhaustive and respond to the ambition of providing resources for further research work about the church.
